Vero brands drive Haas Machines 1

Three Vero Brands to Exhibit at HaasTec 2013

Vero Software brands EDGECAM, SURFCAM and WORKNC will be showcasing their latest features and updates at HaasTec 2013.  Vero’s family of products supports an array of Haas CNC machining solutions and participation in HaasTec further demonstrates a continuing support of Haas’ technology, machine tools and customers.

HaasTec 2013 will take place at the Haas headquarters located at 2800 Sturgis Road, Oxnard, California from April 9th – 12th.

Visitors to the two Vero booths will see for themselves how the market-leading software can take their business to the next level and increase their productivity.  Vero is focused on meeting the needs of the metalworking market by helping manufacturers automate their production processes. With the ability to support multiple applications from wire frame and complex free form mold applications to simple 2-axis milling and turning thru fully automated 5-axis machining, the Vero family of products is capable of meeting the needs of today’s evolving manufacturing environment.

EDGECAM:
EDGECAM has recently added a library of 33 verified post processors supporting the Haas VF series of 3-axis milling machines and developers also intend to produce posts for 4 & 5-axis VF mills and Haas lathes. In addition to the post processor, EDGECAM provides machine graphics for simulation purposes for each post, assisting the programmer to visualize the machining process and avoid collisions. EDGECAM’s new posts have been written in consultation with Haas and are aimed at supporting all functions of the machine.

SURFCAM:
SURFCAM offers machine shops using Haas CNC machines an easy to use, SolidWorks associative CAD/CAM system with powerful capabilities to generate 2 to 5 axis simultaneous toolpaths with verification. Haas customers can also take advantage of over a dozen Haas machine-specific post processors included in SURFCAM with the ability to increase material removal rates by 5 times on their Haas CNC machine using TRUEMill technology.

WORKNC:
WORKNC has increased the ability to assist job shops to run “lights out” with enhancements to their dynamic stock model. Utilizing this technology allows the software algorithms to know the condition of the stock during cutterpath calculations, not just before and after. This allows for cutterpaths with consistent cutter engagements, extending tool life and reducing air time. Overall, it provides high levels of confidence in the reliability of the roughing and finishing cutterpaths to run the milling machines unattended.
