Q. Can I create a tool holder directly from a manufacturers CAD file?

A. Yes, If the file complies with the BMG layer format (*.dxf), you can directly import this into the holder library.

• You will need to contact your tool holder provider, or the manufacturer, to see if they provide this format. If so, you can directly import this file into the holder library. If not the file will have to be opened in WORKNC CAD and then exported as a .crv file. This .crv file can then be read into the holder library.
